Classic London Phone Booths

Phone Boxes during Frieze Art Week | London, UK

October 17, 20251 min read

Of all the places my artwork has been exhibited, this has to be one of the most imaginative. During Frieze Art Week, London’s iconic red telephone boxes are transformed into miniature galleries, bringing contemporary art directly onto the city’s busy streets.

Presented by Plogix Gallery, this unique exhibition reimagines one of Britain’s best-known landmarks. Instead of making a phone call, visitors stop to discover artwork from artists around the world. I love the idea that someone hurrying through London might unexpectedly pause to enjoy a landscape or find a moment of quiet reflection in the middle of a busy day.

This page records my exhibitions during Frieze Art Week. Below you’ll find the featured artworks, exhibition dates and the stories behind each exhibition. My thanks go to Plogix Gallery for creating such an original way to bring art into everyday life and for giving me the opportunity to exhibit in one of the world’s most exciting cultural events.

Three of my artworks were displayed inside these classic red London Phone Booths during Frieze Art Week 2025. On display were "Nature's Quiet Call," "Autumn Mist at Killone Lough," and "Shimmering Irish Autumn."
