Times Square Billboard Showcases | New York City
Seeing my artwork displayed on a giant digital billboard in Times Square was one of those moments that hardly felt real. As an artist who spends countless hours creating quiet scenes inspired by nature, watching one of those images rise above one of the world's busiest intersections was both humbling and deeply rewarding.
Times Square is unlike any other exhibition space. Every day, thousands of people from around the world pass beneath its towering digital screens. For a few moments, my artwork became part of that experience, offering a brief pause from the pace and energy of New York City.
I love that billboard exhibitions make art accessible. You don’t need to step inside a gallery. Whether you’re walking through Times Square, waiting for a taxi, or simply looking up, art can surprise you when you least expect it.
I’m incredibly grateful to the team at Plogix Gallery for sharing my work in such an iconic location. Knowing that people from every corner of the world may have seen a small piece of Ireland’s beauty while standing in the heart of New York is something I’ll always treasure.
17-18 March 2025
My family and I were gathered around the TV, watching a livestream of New York City's Times Square on St. Patrick's Day, 2025, as my images, "Green Leaves on a Pond" and "Poppies & Wildflower Meadow", were shown on the giant 30' x 40' digital billboard above the Pele store at 1560 Broadway Ave. between 46th and 47th streets. This was the first of many video billboard showcases.

23-24 April 2025
My images, "Crimson Sunrise" and "Irish Wildflower Meadow", appeared on the big screen in April 2025.

29-30 May 2025
During this showcase in May 2025, my images, "Division and Hope" and "Glacier-Sculpted Landscape", appeared on this video billboard in Times Square.

27-28 August 2025
My composite piece, "Blissful Ignorance," was shown on the big screen in Times Square in August 2025. The piece explores the timely issue of climate change and rising tides and is part of my "Tides of Tomorrow" Limited Edition Series.

23 January 2026
An animated edition of "Wildflowers Last Bloom?" was displayed in January 2026 over Times Square in New York City. This composite piece, featuring Ireland's Wild Atlantic Waves crashing over a County Clare boreen lined with wildflowers, dramatises the effects of climate change and rising tides.

27-28 February 2026
My striking landscape, "Streamstown River Reflections," appeared on the big screen over Times Square in February 2026. The image captures a serene scene in the "faerie forest" along County Galway's Streamstown River next to Thoor Ballylee (Yeats Tower), the former summer home of Irish Nobel Poet Laureate W. B. Yeats.

29-30 May 2026
Featuring a quintessential Irish scene, "County Clare Rainbow and Wildflowers" spread some Irish luck and beauty across Times Square in May 2026.
